Thanks Carole All very useful. As I mentioned off-line, I have just down-loaded (from the PRO site) the Will of a Thomas SPARROW of Doynton; dated 7 April 1846, proved 16 Aug 1848. It mentions his Wife Rachael and sons George and John; no other names are mentioned. I'll get around to transcribing it one day.
