Hi List Not strictly a genealogy question but trying to help out a friend! I've been reading A Monument to Hawkesbury - A Village Remembered (p.1994) - some of you may be aware of it! In it its stated that prior to the First WW, Hawkesbury had a Dr Rhind who was Scottish, and lived in Beaufort House. Does anyone know anything else about this chap? My friend is a descendent of William Birnie Rhind the Scottish sculptor and I was wondering (a) if the said Dr Rhind is connected to the sculptor and therefore to her. She was really interested so I said I would ask my knowlegeable fellow listers and see what I could find out. So, any help much appreciated Lisa
