Hi Geoffro and List Thought I'd add my two connections to the CHAPPELL discussion. My Gt grandmother was Eliza Chappell, bap 1826 at Oldbury-on-the-Hill, daughter of Charles Chappell (c1787-1842) & his wife Hester BOXWELL (1786-1852) who were married in 1821 at Oldbury. Eliza seems to have been their only child. Sometime between the birth of Eliza in 1826 and the census of 1841 the family moved to Rangeworthy. In 1851 Eliza Chappell married Aaron EDWARDS Jr son of Aaron Edwards Sn who was born in Hawkesbury in 1782. My other Chappell connection is a Mary Ann CHAPPELL who had a natural daughter Sabina in 1841 and then married William EDWARDS in 1844. They were the parents of Peter Edwards the local carter in Hawkesbury. William was a first cousin to the above Aaron Jr. If you or anyone know of the above families I'd love to hear from them. I'd be particularly interested to find out what happened to Sabina. I have all the census details on the above from 1841-1891. Thanks Kerrie NSW Australia
