Hi Jenny Ok that John He was a Dyer by trade and lived at Avening Green Tortworth Originaly thought to be son of William of Rangeworthy but I am not sure thats correct I think he may be the nephew of Thomas died 1557 mentioned in his will.I think the Thomas (son) below is the one who set up Dyeing at Sodom near Cromhall and was thought to be from the Rangeworthy line but i think its more probable hes from the Tortworth clan.
