    3. Hi Jenny Yes Nathaniel secondly married Anna MERIKEN, the interesting thing is he appears to have gone more or less directly to John or Joshua MERIKEN's home to work as his servant, John was the first Nathaniel's servant they travelled out to Maryland together and is known to have come from Gloucestershire, he must have been in contact with him somehow. It seems to be a joke at first Nathaniel marries Anna Meriken An American didn't they all? regards Robert Visit my web pages at http://www.hawkesburyhistory.co.uk ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jenny Joyce" <jenny.joyce@writeme.com> To: <ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 6:02 AM Subject: Re: [HWK] Nathaniel Stinchcombe & Elizabeth Chappel > Thanks Robert, > > Did he also later marry Anna Merriken? > > Cheers > Jenny > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Robert Millard" <ra.millard@btinternet.com> > To: ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [HWK] Nathaniel Stinchcombe & Elizabeth Chappel > Date: Sun, 22 May 2005 15:24:27 +0100 > >> >> Hi Jenny >> Its the second one son of Nehamiah, I think its very probable he >> knew Elizabeth CHAPPELL and may be traveled out with her family, >> perhaps she was from Oldbury on the Hill? still they married at All >> Hallows Church Anne Arundel County Maryland 16th August 1702, about >> 2 years after he arrived. >> regards >> Robert >> Visit my web pages at http://www.hawkesburyhistory.co.uk >> ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jenny Joyce" >> <jenny.joyce@writeme.com> >> To: <ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com> >> Sent: Sunday, May 22, 2005 12:12 PM >> Subject: [HWK] Nathaniel Stinchcombe & Elizabeth Chappel >> >> >> > Hi everyone, >> > >> > Which Nathaniel Stinchcombe married Elizabeth Chappel? >> > >> > Thanks >> > Jenny >> > >> > -- ___________________________________________________________ >> > Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com >> > http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm >> > >> > >> > >> > ==== ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY Mailing List ==== >> > Visit Robert Millard's local and family history web pages at >> > http://www.hawkesburyhistory.co.uk. >> > >> > ============================== >> > Census images 1901, 1891, 1881 and 1871, plus so much more. >> > Ancestry.com's United Kingdom & Ireland Collection.
