Hi everyone, I've just finished transcribing a Wesleyan register for a Kent parish in which I have ancestors since there is a wonderful web site for that parish and surrounding ones, rather like Robert has for Hawkesbury. In that case the chap who run the web site has been able to get copies (photocopies/scans/digital copies) of a number of documents concerning the area from the local Record Office for the purpose of transcribing them. I wondered if we could get anything similar from Gloucestershire records Office for documents relating to Hawkesbury and surrounding parishes. If we could some of us (from what ever part of the world) could transcribe them, without the burden of a trip to England. What does everyone think? I for one would be happy to do some of the transcriptions? Would anyone be able to approach the Gloucester Records office about this?
