Hello everyone, Does anyone know anything about a Mary Toghill married to a George Dawe, he was born about 1858 in the St. Phillips area of Bristol, I have been told Mary died in childbirth leaving at least 3 daughters who were sent to the workhouse,that we know of today as St. Martins Hospital, Odd Down, Bath, George married another Mary ? from Whitley Melksham, my informant tells me that Mary Toghill was sister to my G/father William Henry born Cold Ashton 1871, would I be right thinking she was Mary Ann daughter of George and Letitica?
