    3. RE THE NAMES ON WAR MEMORIAL . When we have a get together checkout the picture in the village hall it gives a list of names and picures of the individuals it used to hang in the original hall built opposite the original as a hospital for the soldiers. whilst on the subject of wars I was told as a child there was a French prisoner of war camp on the A46 just before turning into village, from the Napolionic wars hence the hamlets name Petty (petite)France there is also Dunkirk close by has anyone come across any reference to this.
