Re the Tarviners/Tavinders and all the spellings - Yes - I have fond most of the spelling alternatives too. If you have any Taviners in the Wilts area, especially at the turn of the 18th to 19th C, we might be able to start looking for links - James HULBERT married Mary Taviner and his son moved to Hawkesbury where he married (Ann COOK) and settled. James sister Sarah also married Mary's brother Richard Taviner. This would be the second link as I'm the Marilyn that Geoffro refered to when he picked up on your Thompson link - I was a bit slow as Thompson is a confusing area of study as they were so populous - Geoff is definitely way ahead of me! George HULBERT's son James married Eliza Jane Thompson (b. 1842). Marilyn Moffat ----- Original Message ----- From: R.P. & A.L.
