Hello, Jill I also live in Bath and am working on Curnocks/Cornocks. Stuck on Mary Curnock b. abt 1760 and have just been contacted by Robert Millard? He reckons he's got a big file on Curnock/Curnocke/Cornock. I will be pleased to share what we have, to see if we've got the answer to you. I'm pleased to see Kaye Purnell's note because some of our people went to Oz, one I believe was transported for stealing a tree from the pleasure gardens of the Duke of Beaufort! Just let me know. Family came to South Australia in 1856; then later to VIC it appears. Don't know if this is related to yours. Please note not my family just entries on my GLS Immigrants to Oz index. There are quite a few CORNOCK said born W-u-E on the 1851 GLS index. Hope you got some help with this. Regards Kaye Kaye Purnell <kayepur@ozemail.com.au> Ancestors from GLS who came to Oz?
