Neither Robert or Harriet could write their names. Earlier that year before the 27th of May and on the 4th of a month (entry 8 is the 27th of May, entry 7 says the 4th of ???) Joseph COOPER THOMPSON married Mary POWELL. Witnessed by Thomas COOPER and the Hawkesbury Wedding Watcher/Witness John WINBOW. Again both signed with a cross. Interestingly on this certificate the COOPER appears to have been added later as their is a ^ and COOPER is bolder. As it happens I have a spare copy of the Harriet entry if you want it.
