Hi Pat I've been told Jane PRITCHARD (b. bef 29 May 1796, d. Jun 1847, Chipping Sodbury district)) was the daughter of Isaac and Anna and that Isaac was bapt Sept 1 1762 at Chipping Sodbury the son of Samuel PRITCHARD and Mary KEEPEN. Mary and Jane KEEPEN were sisters, daughters of John KEEPEN and Jane ANNESLEY. More of Carole's wonderful help! I am sure there are other members of the list who will know lots more than me about the Pritchards Liz
Hi I'm another PRITCHARD researcher and I was very interested to see the name "Jane ANNESLEY" as I had her down as a Jane Kipping but i'm not sure why and it could have been a misread "Keepen". Can you let me know the source of the name? Unfortunately, being in Brussels limits my research but i've made some progress, most with Carole's kind help. I'm Samuel, Issac, James, Aaron PRITCHARD line, if you want to know more, get in touch. Also, I did find a Ann Pritchard Will on the PRO site (Will of Ann Pritchard , Widow of Cheltenham , Gloucestershire 26 April 1830 PROB 11/1770) a few days ago - yet to be transcribed 4 pages of small writing. If anyone can claim her or better still put her in/out of my tree, it would be appreciated Regards from Brussels Barry PRITCHARD -----Original Message----- From: David & Liz Fisher [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 22 September 2003 21:23 To: [email protected] Subject: [HWK] Jane Watts nee Pritchard Hi Pat I've been told Jane PRITCHARD (b. bef 29 May 1796, d. Hi Barry, Liz & Pat I've just returned from holiday and spotted all the emails about these families. Jane ANNESLEY's marriage to John KEEPEN was given to me by 2 KEEPEN(ING) researchers recently. They were married Oct 30 1738 at St Philip & St Jacob, Bristol. I don't have any documentary evidence of it however. . Jane was born about 1708 and died Oct 15 1774 at Iron Acton. It was their daughters - Jane who married Alexander WATTS.and Mary who married Samuel PRITCHARD Cheers Carole ----- Original Message ----- From: "Baz" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 22, 2003 9:52 PM Subject: [HWK] Pritchard, Watts and Keepen > Hi > I'm another PRITCHARD researcher and I was very interested to see the name > "Jane ANNESLEY" as I had her down as a Jane Kipping but i'm not sure why and > it could have been a misread "Keepen". > > Can you let me know the source of the name? > > Unfortunately, being in Brussels limits my research but i've made some > progress, most with Carole's kind help.
