For anyone researching Shipways: I was looking through an LDS film 304774 on SA Immigration lists when I found the following Shipway family. 49/12 "Cheapside " sailed from Plymouth for Adelaide SA on 5 July 1849. Passenger No 7525 John Shipway Married, age 34 Shepherd from Gloucestershire. Wife Cathi 34, Children Thomas 8, Edward 6 and Esther 2. >From the ages etc I would say this is the family of John Shipway, born 1814 in Leighterton , son of John Shipway and Mary Creed, and Catherine Innis. Another Shipway relative , Joseph Shipway is said to have arrived on this ship but I did not find any other Shipways listed for that voyage.
