I have at least three Hawkesbury families that I have done little or no research on. They are: THOMAS: Mary THOMAS who married Samuel FRANKCOM on 25 Dec. at Wotton-u-Edge lived at Hawkesbury all her married life. The censuses of 1851 and 1861 indicate that she was born c.1782 - 1784 at Tetbury -I have not found her baptism there. PITT: Betty PITT married Daniel FRANKCOM by banns on 5 April 1774 at Hawkesbury. Witnesses were James RODWAY and William POWER. The I.G.I. shows that on the same date they married at Todenham. There is also an I.G.I. entry saying John M.PITT, relative. Betty FRANKCOM died at Hawkesbury aged 65 on 16 April 1818 so it seems that she was born c. 1752/53. WILLIAMS: Hannah WILLIAMS was the 2nd wife of Daniel FRANKCOM (1708 - 1788). Daniel married 1. Rebecca ALWAY, 3.Sarah NELMES and 4. Ann CLARK. Hannah is my ancestor and died July 1752. She and Daniel married om 1746 at Old Sodbury. I'd love to hear from anyone who has any of these names in their families. Also researching CREWE, BRIDGES, NEALE, HANCOCK, HATHWAY and EMERSON of Horton, WORKMAN of Tresham, COMPEER.
