At the request of some new listers on the different lists I realized today that it has been a while since I listed my surname interests. Below are the families I will be looking into while I am in England and for whom I search on an ongoing basis: (listed in highest priority to last) WICKS - In Wiltshire at Sopworth, Sherston and Hullavington; In Gloucester at Tormarton, Badminton, Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Alderley, Cromhall, Hawkesbury, Hillesley and surrounding areas. FRY, CAM, DANCEY and KING - In Gloucester at Tormarton, Badminton and Dodington; looking for link to Hawkesbury area. GILLARD, MARTIN, PEARCE, TOOGOOD and COX - In Somerset at Lyng, Burrowbridge, Stoke St. Gregory, Drayton, Curry Rivel, Martock, Stoke sub Hamden and surrounding areas. Also in Staple Hill, Bristol and in Treorchy, Wales. PARROTT, MARKS and HITCHCOCK - In Somerset at Wellington and Taunton area. BATTEN and HAWKINS - In Somerset at Wellington and along the Somerset/Devon boundary. Will be taking a hard look at Collumpton in Devon for the next previous generation of my BATTEN line. LANCASTER - In Somerset at Worle and in Bedminster, Bristol MARSHALL and OWEN - In Somerset at Stone Allerton CHANT - In Somerset at Martock and surrounding area. Additional families I am seeking but won't be pursuing on this trip: BROADHURST - In Hanley, Fenton and Walsall in Staffordshire; In Lancashire at Manchester. WILSON and GEDDES - In Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland and Manchester in Lancashire. Don't worry listers - I will be taking lots of pix to share.
