Hi Pat, There is at least one PITT/THOMSPON marriage. I am also aware of PITT descendants in Aus or NZ. I will need to check files as it is a while since I lookd at this family. Sabina PITT springs to mind as being looked for. Anna NELMES - born 1708 in Coaley and died 8th February 1766 at Coaley was my 7th Great Grandmother. She married Thomas WHITTARD in March 1728 at Whitminster St Andrew. That is unfortunately all I know of her at this stage. I remember reading an old GFHS magazine which listed a NELMES as an officer of the GFHS. Perhaps Liz JACK the GFHS internet rep will be able to assist you with her details.
