On reading over the Will again of Henry HOLBOROW of Oldbury on the Hill, I find there are slight mentions of two surnames that have been discussed recently which might be of interest to researchers as to certain premises and lands. To his son Henry Holborow ".... All those my Tenements or Dwelling Houses with the Gardens Orchards Lands Hereditaments and Premises with appurtenances thereto belonging situate ...in the parish of Oldbury of the Hill ...commonly called or known by the name of the Folly and which I purchased of and from one Giles RODWAY. Also two other Tenements or Dwelling Houses with the gardens and little paddock of ground thereto belonging also situate in the parish of Olbury on the Hill called also the Folly and by me very lately purchased from my said son William HOLBOROW and now in the possession of William A(O?)RCHARD Abraham CHAPPELL and myself To Hold all and every of the aforesaid tenements etc.etc. after my decease unto my said son Henry Holborow.... etc.etc...." The will is dated 20 November 1788. - Janice Toronto, Canada ---------------- Searching for Birth/Marriage/Death/Burial information on William and Mary HOLBROW of Wanswell Court, Berkeley and their two children Daniel b.1790 and Maria b.1793. Also another William (b.Feb.1821) and Mary HOLBROW last seen on 1851 census at Stonehouse - a look up on 1861 census would be greatly appreciated. Thank you - janice.h@attcanada.net
