Hello all 4th and other cousins, To Pat, thankyou for Neale/Hancock imfo, most of which Ididn't have. the Thos S,m1621,d1665 has a long will relating to family at Chalkley, but in next generation four sons squabbled over their inheritance for some 40 yrs.Eldest son Thos,d1869 is in Bigland, and is the Yhos in H.Docs 1002-3 and1043. To Robert, yes,we seem to have a common lineage from Danielb1736 back, and moving forwards you have this interesting period with an aunt and a cousin as m partners-shall want to know more about this! Nehemia was 2nd youngest son of Thos,d1665 above;agree we dont have his b or m recorded, but he is in his fathers will, his children are in Quaker register,he has an admon with inventory and is bur at Ch.Sod. I think Nicholas of Nicholas and Martha was b1626,son of John and Eliz:he has a will1693,and is in Bigland. The landholding of this Nich, his son and gson(also Nich) is assembled as 14 deeds, etc in Badminton Papers,NC4/39.He is probably the 2nd witness in H Doc 960 and also the NS in Doc 1043. I cant place the three folk in Doc of 1600,but they might well be the 2nd or 3rd gen at Chalkley-there are two Nicholas' in Men and Armour,1608. To Geoff,Hope the prospecting at Hillesley was rewarding, and thankyou for mammoth Thompson chart with Minett connections and up-to-moment additions.Alas,my charts are still pencil and paper jobs john s
