Hi Ann In fact we have been planning our expedition to Hilesley st chapel as the grass is so long we have been looking for tree fellers or was it three fellows I can't remember after a pint in the Beaufort arms. Any way the population of Hilesley are excited to learn of the visit on Saturday of the venerable Pond Dipper although they express their sorrow in not having a village pond should he fancy a dip whilst there but we have obtained Dippers rights with divers at the Mill pond at Killcott near by, they did ask if the Dipping could be done between 12 and 3 o'clock as they would all be in the Fleece public house and as Killcott stream is the water supply for Hilesley they didn't want the afternoon tea affected or was it infected. So Ann will we see you on Saturday armed with clippers and field glasses and wellie boots were going to dig up uuuh no clear the grass and record the inscriptions. regards The grave robber ---- Original Message ----- From: <AS11648@aol.com> To: <ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2000 11:36 PM Subject: [[Hawks]] Very Quiet Out There! > Have you all gone off on a dig or something?
