Hi Geoffro I wonder if any of your Hawkesbury listers know anything of John Wyatt CATER and family - wife Elizabeth, son Henry. He was born in Stapleton, but they were living in Hawkesbury Upton in 1851 and John was the Police Constable. By 1881 Elizabeth had died, John had remarried and was Chief Constable in Walsall - quite a promotion!!
