Hi Listers, Am new to the list - interested in the ILES/EYLES in and around the Hawkesbury area. Have just obtained the 1798 will of George ILES, butcher of Hawkesbury and struggling to work out how he fits into the Hawkesbury ILES families - if he does. He left all his property to his son William and some money to his daughters Hannah the wife of John BLUNSON(?) of Castle Comb, and Mary the wife of James BASEMAN(?) of Frampton Cotterrole. Who was George's mother and father and when was he born? Was he the George baptised in 1758 at Hawkesbury with parents George and Ann? Where and when was William and his sisters born? Who was William's mother? Were they a Hawkesbury ILES family or incomers from the Sodbury/Horton area? Dennis
