    3. Thanks Marilyn for the reply and suggestions. I will try that. I suspect that my ggrandfather John JENKINSON(b. 1793?) was a nephew of Charles and a cousin of Robert JENKINSON(Earl of Liverpool). I have been unable to find the names and birth dates of the male siblings of Charles, let along the names of their respective offspring. Kingston was mentioned in the retelling of family history, but I had no idea exactly where or what it was. I will pursue that too. Pardon my ignorance, but what is Kingston on the Thames(I do know the Thames is a river that flows through London)? John had some type of government appointment having to do with revenue--but being somewhat of a novice at this I'm not sure how to go researching this. Is there a site somehow that lists government officials for the period 1800-1850? Another clue that comes from family lore is that John got to ride some of the King's horses in his youth. This is a story that dad remembers from his youth. Susie Jenkinson Hatfield hatfield@midusa.net
