OK - I'm not the most knowledgable on this family but I'll start- The Jenkinson's owned a lot of Hawkesbury - in other words the local "gentry" along with the Beauforts. The family includes Robert Banks Jenkinson aka Lord Liverpool one time Prime Minister during the Napoleonic Wars. He was born in London in 1770, and according to the web page I read, he died on 4 December 1828 at Coombe House, Kingston upon Thames. That means there is a lot known about the family but conversely it may be more difficult to use the "easy" internet searches - as many were likely to have been born in other family homes - in London for example. I did a quick web search using www.google.com just now and turned up some potted biographies of the man - some have addresses which might help locate other Jenkinson homes - they might give you some clues - certainly some background into the family. What I do know is that apart from Hawkesbury, they also married into the KINGSCOTT family of Kingscotte - about 6 miles away (close to Tetbury) - there are family graves in Kingscotte churchyard.
