    1. [[Hawks]] Lord LIVERPPOL and KIngston upon Thames
    2. Hello Susie, A friend of mine is a Lord LIVERPOOL admirer and one Sunday afternoon we went to Coombe in search of his home, which we found and duly admired. I can't remember much about the house or even if it was the original but there is certainly something on the site. Kingston upon Thames is a London borough and was once the county town of Surrey. We still have the County Hall, opposite which stands Kingston University. It was at Kingston that seven Saxon kings were crowned and it was the birth place of Edweard Muybridge (AKA Edward MUGGERIDGE), inventor of the zoopraxiscope, a precursor of the moving image. Incidentally he went to California and was involved in a murder but was pardoned rather than hanged. There was a pub called the Lord Liverpool which has recently been demolished after a short and dubious time as a rock club. Cheers, Janet Heskins (Surbiton, borough of KIngston upon Thames, Surrey)
