Saturday gave me the opportunity to chat with some of you about dates for future Get Togethers. I have also had off list chats/ discussions with some of you. New listers are encouraged to add GeoffBrightman@hotmail.com to their MSN messengers and join us for daily chats. Here are my thoughts on Get Togethers for next year. The main research based Get Together should stay around the end of September. The Xmas dinner social event should also be held. I thought December would be a good month for this. In addition I am proposing a sort of inbetween event toward the end of April. This last could be held on the same day as The Gloucestershire Family History Society fair which is being held at Cirencester on the 28th of April. That runs from 10 til 4. We could meet from mid afternoon through the evening and maybe for Sunday dinner. It is important that I hear your thoughts on this issue. What I would really like to see is a discussion on the list about it. I am not a dictator (unless you are talking to Mrs P). It is your family and history. What do you think ??? Geoffro
