Hi Listers I have for a short period the 1841 and 1891 census for Hawkesbury the 1841 is a bit limited on detail but is very usefull all the same, If anyone would like a look up over the next 2 weeks let me know. The census I have include Hawkesbury, Upton, Hillesley, Killcott, Horton, Tresham, Saddlewood, Little Badminton , Acton Turville I also have the Glos 51 cd and 1881 UK set and all volumes of Biglands. I am now looking for members of the STINCHCOMBE family that just seemed to have vanished I suspect they have emigrated so if you come across a STINCHCOMBE in USA Canada Austrailia or New Zealand or anywhere else its very possable one I'm looking for, the name is very local to Hawkesbury area. Well I'm off to the Christmas dinner at the Beaufort now so all those listers who cant make it may I wish you all a very merry Christmas. regards Robert Millard
Dear Robert, Many thanks for the offer, I would be obliged if you could look up the Family of Job DAVIS, born HAWKESBURY, and his Father Robert DAVIS, also born HAWKESBURY, in the 1841 Census. Could you then look up the Family of WILLIAM JOB DAVIS and his Father WILLIAM DAVIS. Also Henry Robert Witts DAVIS, and George VIZARD and his family. All on the 1891 census. I don't know where any of these would be living, but they were all from around the Hawkesbury area's. Many thanks, Regards, Mavis. Hi Robert, I hope you all enjoyed your dinner. Perhaps next year we will be able to make it. If you could look up in the 41 & 91 for any SHIPP's it would be very much appreciated by us.
