    3. Hello Folks, Thanks to all concerned for news of SMART families of Hillesley/Tasmania. The m of Sarah,1722 is in my line, but have only recently tried to progress it;have found an assortment of clues that suggest family has been in the area as long as most:- the 1522 Muster(Hoyle) has a Thos Smert at Tormarton' a male m at Badminton,1587,and I think there is a Smart on tenants list there c1708 The Hale of Alderly papers at CRO has title deeds at Hawkesbury,1699 involving cottages called Smart's Tenement-do we know of these? OK,there are a few gaps to fill! ----project for next year maybe I agree with the lineage given for Sarah Stinchcombe,b1833 and think she is a descendent of the 17c clothier branch keep hunting, john stinchcombe
