Some of you may remember the discussion a few weeks ago about the unusual Christian name Urania, which occurred two or three times among Hawkesbury families, notably the COOPERS. One of the earlier Urania COOPERs was bap 20 Jun 1766 at Hawkesbury, and appears to have been the half-sister of the Joseph COOPER who lived at Almondsbury but was buried at Hawkesbury and whose will was proved by the PCC at London.
