Hi Gwen, Doug, and Sue The IGI entry is a "patrons" entry It is probably correct and Nathaniel married a Jane HOPKINS there was a likely candidate at nearby Tetbury as Sue says the birth at Oldbury does say Jane is wife of Nathaniel, I wonder if she dies and Nathaniel remarried Sarah BENCE on 24 Jan 1731the register says Sarah was from Alderley the trouble is we have 2 Nathaniels one born 1700 and the other 1703 did they both survive are they seperate marriages?
