Hello Carole There is a web site for all our mistakes at http://www.ukbdm.org.uk/ You just submit the details of the certificates you don't want and interested parties will get in touch with you. ============================================= Rob Thompson also runs an unwanted certificate service in his Family History Newsletter. If you have a certificate you don't need that may be of use to someone else then drop him a line at [email protected], and he will advertise it in an upcoming newsletter. If you have a spare certificate that is of no use to you at all then you can either send him the details via email, or send him the certificate. If the certificate is sent to him then it will be sent on to any enquiries. After six months if nobody has claimed the certificates as interesting to their research then they will be deposited at the SoG library. He will however keep all the details of the certificate on file and pass them on to any relevant one name studies registered with the Guild of One Name Studies. The address for spare certificates to be sent to is: GFHN, 66 Northern Road, Aylesbury, HP19 9QY To subscribe to Family History News send a message containing the word subscribe to [email protected] Subscription is free To find out more about the newsletter, or view the archive see http://www.genuki.org.uk/news/ Regards Brian Brian Beeche Comley - Porthcawl, Glamorgan (South Wales - UK) FHS Member: Glam (#1433); Gwent (#1318); Wilts (#2186) All emails (in & out) scanned by Norton Anti Virus 2003 ----- Original Message ----- From: "anthony sharp" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 30, 2003 9:38 PM Subject: [HWK] Specail New Year offer! > Happy New Year! > Thanks to the generosity of a distant cousin Donald Kay BUCHANAN, I have a > number of BMD certificates to find homes for! Happy New Year Brian Thanks for the websites - I didn't know about either of them before. I found several people with an interest in the same families as I have on http://www.ukbdm.org.uk/ so I'm doubly grateful for that one.
