Hi Carole., Don't know if this helps or not but for your information in the Will of Daniel ALLEN of Hawkesbury proven at London 31st MaY 1824 (transcript of which I submitted to Roberts site) he mentions his grandchildren: Allen., Mary Maria., James., DAvid., John and a male infant unbaptized as far as he knew GOULTER the children of his late bereaved daughter Sarah the wife of James GOULTER of Acton Turville. Hi Patricia, Thanks for that. John Goulter is from Acton Turville, according to the 1851 & 1861 censuses, born about 1819.so possibly the young John you mention. In 1851 John GOULTER was at Upton, married to Ann age 32 (born about 1819 Horton). He was a widower when he married Eliza COOK in 1855.. Sarah ALLEN married James GOULTER 2 May 1811, Banns at Hawkesbury (but I expect you already know this)! Best wishes Carole
