Carole Thanks for this information. Any information on this family is helpful as I'm trying to sort out a mystery relationship to this MILSOM family below. Isaac Septimus MILSOM (son of William Milsom/Mary Ann Boulton) of Sopworth married Alice Mathilda TEAGLE (dau of Alfred TEAGLE from Didmarton) at St Marys Fishponds 10 Sept 1887, they later lived in Risca, Monmouthshire. Six years earlier in 1881, Isaac was living with his uncle Robert MILSOM in Sopworth (presumably William's brother), but the mystery I have is that Alice Mathilda TEAGLE was also living with Robert MILSOM in Sopworth in 1881, and is shown as his niece - she was only aged 13 at the time, many years before she married Robert's nephew Isaac, so it sounds as though Isaac and Alice were cousins whem they married. I'm hoping this might help identify Alice's mother - her name was Sarah, but surname unknown, and the only marriage found for Alice's father Alfred TEAGLE was in 1856 to Elizabeth HARDING. Whether Sarah/Elizabeth are the same person or Sarah was a second wife is not yet known. Does any census data show, or does anyone have, a Sarah connected to this MILS! OM family or a connection to the name HARDING? Hi All If anyone has a connection to these families, please concentrate on the following! I apologise for all the detail but I have seen this family on several websites, none of which mention the fact that William MILSOM married twice! . William MILSOM was born abt 1820 at Sopworth WIL and can be found in Hawkesbury on the 1851 census. lodging with William DAVIS and family. On Oct 27 1855, at St Mary’s Hawkesbury, William MILSOM 36 Farmer of Luckington, son of George MILSOM Labourer married Mary Ann BOULTON 23 Upton, dau of William BOULTON Labourer. William & Mary Ann MILSOM had at least 5 children, including Isaac Septimus, Lucy, Emily, Reuben & George between 1855 and 1864 at Luckington, WIL. . Mary Ann MILSOM died Dec Qtr 1864 and William BOULTON remarried in Mar Qtr 1867 at Luckington to Ann WATTS, I don’t have the details but I am 99% certain that she is the daughter of Maurice WATTS & his wife Ann (TUCK). William & Ann had at least 2 children, Amy Annie & Edith, again, both born at Luckington. In 1884, Emily MILSOM, daughter of William & his first wife Mary Ann, married John Maurice WATTS, the illegitimate son of Ann WATTS, who had become the 2nd wife of William MILSOM!! In Oct 1893, Amy Annie MILSOM married John WATTS, son of William WATTS & Emma LEWIS of Hawkesbury Upton. William WATTS was also the son of Maurice WATTS & his wife Ann (TUCK) and therefore a brother of Ann WATTS and uncle of Amy Annie MILSOM! If anyone wants the associated census details, provided courtesy of Kay, please ask. Cheers Carole .. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
