    3. Hi List, Someone was asking me for a search of Aust. Vital records for Trewhitt. For reasons I will not explain (I am not going to risk a dunking!!!) I have the answers, but not the address of the person to send them to, and they are a bit too large to inflict on the whole list. So if the Trewhitt researcher will contact me again ........ 2. Mavis Williams
    3. Dear Listers, Just thought I would post my interests:- DAVIS Job Chris. HAWKSBURY 1791 DAVIS ROBERT Father of Job DAVIS BETTY Mother of Job My DAVIS Family married into the WITTS Family, with Job's son WILLIAM marrying JA(Y)NE MARY WITTS, whose Father was JOSEPH WITTS, Wife ANN MALLER. They married at GREAT BADMINTON, where both JOB and WILLIAM moved and worked on the DUKE of BEAUFORT'S STABLES, as first HELPERS IN STABLES and then GROOMS. I would appreciate any help in finding out any more about the DUKE'S ESTATE, it seems that there are no books on it, and the only book I was recommended to buy was written by the Old Duke of Beaufort, and (I hope I'm correct) was entitled "BEAUFORT", the book was about the family and presumably the estate. Hope this helps someone, or perhaps with luck I might find some "long lost" connection. Regards, Mavis Williams, Flintshire. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Geoff Brightman" <LWYouthForum@lwwp.freeserve.co.uk> To: <ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 07, 2000 4:00 PM Subject: [[Hawks]] From the Pond Dipper > There are now over 30 of us on the Hawkesbury list, not bad for the first > month of existence. > > Many listers have yet to post their interests. Vital Records Index. But it's in hard copy and not entered into my machine yet. Just for the record - Amelia 1862, Amelia H. 1868, Augusta 1860, F. 1857, Frederick T. 1869, Isaac L. 1854, James C. 1849 appears twice, Lavinia 1865, Louisa J. 1866, (Male) 1863, Simeon 1851. F. is born at Ydah? Victoria, all the rest in NSW. The AVR info doesn't look totally conclusive. Are there Australian BMD certs that can be checked? Doug
