Hello all, I'm trying to track down an elusive ancestor or two thought to be from the Hull area. I'm tracing back some LAVERACK ancestors living, more recently, in the Wakefield area but said to originate in Hull. I have a George Laycock LAVERACK (born c1910), parents unknown but I suspect may have been male LAVERACK = female LAYCOCK. It is said that the LAVERACK parent was involved in starting the Fletcher's Sauce company making "Tiger sauce" but pulled out of the venture fairly early on, before presumably moving to Wakefield area where all of their offspring appear to have lived. Any information gratefully received. My sources are rather sketchy and now sadly, mostly secondhand.
