    3. Hello ERY Listers, I would like tothank Diane, Alan and Sheila for answering my request for a look-up for John Joseph Smith It would appear that there is very little information on the 1841 census and what there is must be hard to find. As I am not even sure that my John Joseph was born in Yorkshire (I found this one by trolling through 8000 John Smith's on the IGI) and the Rachel Smith found plus the age of the granddaughter all add up to the impression that this is probably the wrong one. But at least that is one of the 25 John Josph's I found eliminated for now. I'll put him on the back shelf and try for the rest Thanks again Gill Smith in Ontario Canada

    3. Dear Friends I have heard from Colin Hinson, and then downloaded for myself, a message that Colin thought came from me. It was a message about the Upper Dales FH Group, but on checking the address it was certainly NOT my email address, although it had my name at the front of it. I am at a loss to understand how it has culled my name, and a message I sent weeks ago to my own group, but with a different email address. As usual, my Norton is updated every single day, and although I have received dozens of virus this last 2 weeks, I have not opened any of them, and my system is clean. Any ideas about how this happened would be most appreciated!! Please accept my apologies if anyone thought I was sending virus out - not guilty on this one but most enthralled as to how it works! Best wishes Glenys www.bishopdale.demon.co.uk Web site for the Upper Dales Family History Group Seeking CUMPSTONs everywhere via the Rootsweb mailing list
