The front page says:Calendar of all grants of probate & letters of administration made in the Probate registries(apologies if I didn't copy that right) of the High Court of Justice in England, together with the Northern Ireland probates & letters of administration, Scotch confirmations & colonial grants sealed in England during the year. 3. The period covered is 1853-1972. 4. I am happy to do look ups providing I have a date or 5 year period. I have not asked about photocopying, the library does not have locker facilities and the thought of trundling larges books as well as bags does not appeal. 5.Your rellie may have left a will which was not discovered or proved until later.
