Hi to all, I hope you do not mind me posting this letter to this list because strictly speaking it is a non gen. subject. I am interested in finding out more about Z.C. PEARSON. All I know so far is that he was a Lord Mayor of Hull, Pearson Park was donated by him and he was a blockade runner during the American Civil War. The ship was called the "MODERN GREECE" and was sunk near WILMINGTON, North Carolina. I know that he stood trial in HULL but so far I have not been able to locate details of the trial. Any further information on the above named gentleman would be greatly appreciated. Jean-HULL
