Hello Listers I have been told by a kind member of the LINCS list that a Robert JOHNSON married Mary BLACKSTON at Saint John and Saint Martin, Beverley, Yorkshire on 8 Feb 1779. I think they may be the parents of my Frances JOHNSON who married Robert ROEBUCK at Sculcoates in 1814 and I'm trying to prove it. Would it be possible for SKS to see if there is a Stephen JOHNSON bp with the above parents c1784 or perhaps another child bp 1779-1783 that I do no know about. On the 1851 census, Stephen gave his birth place as Hull so it's possible they have already moved there by 1784. Hull is such a big place that I thought it was worth checking out Beverley first. Robert and Mary JOHNSON then moved to Barton Upon Hull by 1786 and Laceby by 1793 where subsequent children were baptised so they have been difficult to track down.
