Many thanks Kevin. I've had a quick look at the Goole data and will probably be returning to it as my research continues.At this stage I am back to the 1881 census with this line. There is an Eleanor (nee HODGSON I believe,born approx 1856) married to Louis LEE living at 5 Water Side with their 3 children Rose, Anna and Nellie. Louis died in approx 1886 and then Eleanor married Edmund SMITH in Goole in 1890. The family then moved to Bury, Lancashire where Eleanor died in 1895 after childbirth and Edmund sadly took his own life not long after.Any interests/connections in Goole would be most welcome!
