Hello to all, Thank you to everyone who replied to the above. I have now found an excellant report in "The Centenary Book of Hull" by John Markham, the said book sitting in my bookcase staring at me!! This has now narrowed by search down considerably but if anyone has any info. on his bankruptcy trial (I presume that was what the trial was about) I would love to know more. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to go into HULL at the moment but I am sure that there will be a record there. Kind regards. Jean-HULL
