Hi I have being doing research on my ancestors, the MARKHAM FAMILY for a while now and have discovered that the family were resident in Wressle, Near Howden and the surrounding area as Blacksmiths for more than a hundred years (at least 1770 to 1880's). As they appear to have been in the same area for such a long time I was wondering if anyone else was researching this family and we could exchange information. I have visited the Beverley Archives and noted all that I could find regarding the MARKHAMS' but finding some difficulty fitting the names into the correct branches of the family and Beverley is a long way to visit often.
