    3. Transcibers notes and questions: Is the word se'nnight or fe'nnight? I can only tell s from f when I know the word! What does it mean? My doubts about anything will be put between <>. Please let me know if you find any connections to the folks listed here, I'd like to share your joy! I am slowly unfolding this paper and will deal with each area as I do. Be patient with me! The paper is quite dark and I am not sure it will scan with enough contrast to read. One of you said you'd post to freebmd list and I wonder if this info shouldn't also be passed to the appropriate genealogical society? If one of you belong, will you kindly do that? Thanks, carolyn MARRIAGES: Yesterday fe'nnight, at the Holy Trinity Church, Mr. William DARLING, cabinet-maker to Mrs. Elizabeth IRWIN, of this place. 3. Carolyn - in case you haven't had replies on this one: se'night = 7 night, or week fort'night = 14 night, still called fortnight (why not also twentyonenight, etc? No idea.) Migs NZ -- Quote: There is no problem which cannot be made worse, especially if people claim there's no problem. - Modern / Trad.
