HI, Does anyone know of any resources in Hull about Hull merchant seamen? And possible deaths of merchant seamen? My GGG grandfather Henry THISTLETON b. 1798 was a master mate out of Hull in the 19th Century . I have been unable to find a death entry for him in the GRO index nor in the marine death section. His wife was a widow in 1871 and a wife in 1851 so presumably he died between these dates. Any suggestions welcome. Judith Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia
