Hi List Would one of you kind souls who has an index of Beverley and sub districts please look to see if there is a Stokes family, living in Beverley area in the 1851 census? My husband's ancestor Francis Stokes was born in North Dalton in about 1820. This was written in a family bible. I understand North Dalton is about 10 miles from Beverley.
