Rosemary, I can find Spittle Street running between the Groves and Jennings Street in Sutton Ward on various maps between about 1863 and 1909. I'm not sure if this may be the same street as Spittal. Also I am not sure if it is still there, though I suspect not. Regards Chris Watson Hi List, On a marriage cert I have the address as SPITTAL However, the S does not look like the S in STUTTON but looks like the S in STREET th TT lookes like the TT in SUTTON.
