I would appreciate any information on William Allott or William George Allott. Both apparently came from the Barnsley / Sheffield area (although other documents mention being born in Hull district) were of similar age and were both iron founders. Firms founded by one or the other William : Allott and Thelwall & Allott & Daniels William George died in 1912 aged 82. This puts his birth around 1830 but can find no trace. Help PLEASE !
