I have recently discovered a new link to my family, and wondered if anyone else on the list has any information about William and Mary SNELL (nee SANDERS). All I have at the moment is that Mary was born in Brixham, Devon in 1840, and died in Hull in 1864. She is buried in the Western Cemetery. Her gravestone would suggest that she had children, ... 'weep not for me, my troubles take, and love my children for my sake..., and it would be likely that William would remarry having lost his wife so young. Any possible leads gratefully received. Hi, Martin I have no information on the family, per ce. But I do have an 1851 Directory for Hull which shows the following: Charles Snell, corn miller and shopkeeper, Holderness Road William Snell, sloop owner, 50 English Street No more references to Snell.
