>Graham Freeman was asking I wonder if anyone has any information about the Bethesda Chapel, Osborne St, Hull about 1857. < The book "Lost Churches and Chapels of Hull" by David Neave ISBN 1-872167-29-2 gives the following description - "Bethesda Chapel, Osborne Street - built 1842 as an Independant chapel in a crude Decorated style similar to the Mariners' Church. Seating for 500. Taken over by Danish Lutherans in 1850. Rebuilt as St Nicolai's Danish Lutheran church in 1871." A sketch of both the above is given in the book, as is one of the Mariners' Church in Dagger Lane.
