Due to the recent appearance of the WILKINSON name I would like to add my contribution in the hope that someone will benefit or that they may possibly be able to help with the progress of my own family tree. William Wilkinson (bc 1783, d 1840) married Anne Lidgit (bc 1777, d 1840). William and Anne both died in the same quarter of 1840 in Gainsborough, Lincs. William and Anne had two children, Anne (b 1804) and Robert ( b 1805, d 1862). Robert Wilkinson was born in Normanby by Spital, Lincs and married an Elizabeth ????? in about 1823. Robert and Elizabeth had two children, Frances (b 1824) and Elizabeth (b 1828, d 1891) Elizabeth Wilkinson (christened in Gainsborough) married George Walker, a Master Mariner of Hull (b 1815, d 1893) in Holy Trinity Church in 1858.
