In addition I now know that William must already have died. By 1851 the JOHNSON family had moved back to Hull, but Martha, then 18, was not living at home on census day. However, in the index to the 1851 census HO 107/2362 Holy Trinity Hull, there is an entry: Martha JOHNSON (18) Hull 490v I suspect that this must be my Martha, and am hoping that SKS who is looking at (or has access to) the above 1851 census document would be so good as to look at the record of folio 490v and give me the details on her occupation and household in which she was living. TIA and regards - Peter in gloriously sunny (and snow-free) Kingston, Ont., Canada --=======1AF03B52======= Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; x-avg=cert; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-2906298C Content-Disposition: inline --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
